The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information:
1. The number of reported sexual assaults which took place where the location was listed as ‘barracks’; ‘garrison’ or:
• Royal Citadel, postcode PL1 2PD
• HMNP Devonport, postcode PL2 2BG
• RM Bickleigh Barracks
• RM Chivenor, postcode EX31
• Britannia Royal Naval College, postcode TQ6
• Commando Training Centre Lympstone, postcode EX5 8AR
• RM Stonehouse Barracks
between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2023. Please include in your response whether the report led to a charge or a summons.
Between 1 April 2018 and 31 December 2023, there were seven rapes reported where the address was one of those listed. Of those seven offences, none resulted in a charge.
