I have determined that an outcome notice in relation to the Special Case Hearing of the below
named officer will be published
Chair: Chief Constable Sawyer
Dates of Hearing: 3 August 2021
Officer: PC Christopher Wilson
A Special Case hearing was conducted by Chief Constable Sawyer on 3 August 2021.
Chief Constable Sawyer who chaired the hearing determined that following a conviction of Misconduct in Public Office at Crown Court, Former PC Wilson’s conduct amounted to Gross Misconduct and breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour concerning Discreditable Conduct, Duties and Responsibilities and Orders and Instructions.
The outcome was that Former PC Wilson would have been dismissed without notice if he had remained a serving officer at the time of the proceedings.
