It is alleged that an officer’s behaviour has fallen below the Standards of Professional Behaviour in that he:
(a) Entered into an emotional and/or flirtatious relationship with Ms A and attempted to have a sexual relationship with her when he knew, or should have known, that he should not do so.
(c) Engaged in flirtatious and/or sexual conversations with Ms A whilst he was on duty.
(d) Did not inform his line manager of his relationship with Ms A.
(c) Attempted to persuade Ms A not to disclose his relationship to her line manager.
It is alleged that the officer’s behaviour has fallen below the standards of professional behaviour, namely honesty and integrity, authority, respect and courtesy, orders and instructions, duties and responsibilities and discreditable conduct.
A misconduct hearing will be held on Monday 18 November 2024 at 1100 hours. Attendance for members of the public will be facilitated remotely.
