Distraction theft, Teignmouth
Police have released images of a man they wish to identify in connection to a distraction theft in Teignmouth.
At around 3.25pm on Friday 11 August, a man entered Shaldon Bakery on Northumberland Place in Teignmouth.
The man approached the store assistant and advised that his mother had left a walking stick behind the previous day. The assistant left the till area and went out the back to look for the stick. Whilst the assistant was away, the man took around £200 - £300 from the till.
Police would like to identify the man in the image in connection with this incident.
