Serious sexual assualt, Plymouth
Police investigating an allegation of serious sexual assault in Plymouth have released images of a man they believe may have information that can assist officers with their enquiries.
The female victim was encountered by a male in Popworld nightclub, and again in Union Street, in the early hours of Saturday 6 October last year.
A serious sexual assault later took place in a property in Plymouth.
A 31-year-old man from Plymouth, who is not the male photographed, has been arrested on suspicion of rape and released under police investigation.
Officers would like to identify and speak with the man pictured as he may be able to help with their investigation.
Detectives would also like to hear from a male passer-by wearing a rucksack, who is a potential witness, seen in Union Street walking past a man and a woman at around 5am.
