Reporting a missing person

If you are worried about a missing friend or relative following a major incident this section will advise you what to do. This procedure should only be used in the case of a major incident. It is not the standard way to report a missing person. The standard way is to ring 101 or 999 if you think they are in serious danger. If you wish to report someone missing, who may have been at the incident, you can telephone us. Please be aware that we will need to ask you for details relating to the person(s).
