Welcome to the rural affairs team page. Created in 2018, the team’s primary aim is to increase our rural communities' confidence in policing by: problem solving issues in partnership, instigating preventative initiatives and undertaking community engagement events - so we can listen to the public and explain what action we are undertaking. The Devon and Cornwall Police Rural Affairs Team highlight rural issues throughout the year to focus problem solving activity for police, partners and public with key messages and prevention activity. This video is about livestock – rural road safety. We should not underestimate the impact of this type of crime on rural communities, business and wildlife.
