Become a Special Constable

We are now closed for applications to become a Special Constable Please submit all expressions of interest here. To find out more information about becoming a Special Constable please read through the attachments below Special Constable Recruitment Process Stages Specials Recruitment Handbook Special Constabulary Volunteer leaflet   Please see the below for the recruitment timeline for the current campaign. You will be communicated your results at each stage by email and will not receive this for several days after completion.  Note - The Assessment Centres are scheduled to take place at the end of July and start of August. If COVID-19 is still very active within our communities at that time we will consider alternative arrangements as your safety is important to us. We are actively recruiting and there will be no change to the online registration which closes at the end of May.
