Police are appealing for witnesses after a 2nd incident involving laser lights being shone at moving vehicles.

The second incident occurred on the 8th February at approximately 1930 when a laser was pointed at a moving vehicle on the B3344 between Chudleigh Knighton and Chudleigh. The laser hit the wing mirror of the car and was reflected into the vehicle puting the driver at risk of being involved in an accident.

Local PCSO Paul Wilson points out that " This is dangerous and stupid behaviour and is likely to cause an accident. Anyone identified as being involved in these incidents, is likely to be charged with reckless endangerment of a motor vehicle. The penalty for this offence can be high but, the outcome of any accident caused could be a lot worse."
