Protest groups - G7

The request in more detail:

Request no: 2532/21

On 1/06/21 Devon and Cornwall Police posted a video on twitter stating that they have been working with up to 30 activist groups in the lead up the G7 summit. Can you provide me the names of the 30 activist groups you have been working with in preparations for the G7? Could you also clarify how these groups were engaged. Whether that be at meetings, on demos or via communication channels. It would be good to understand level of engagement the police have had with activists in the lead up to the summit. Could you also confirm whether Devon and Cornwall police have adopted the Met’s stance on legal observers, and when this decision was put into place. Context: In a letter to Liberty (disclosed at the weekend) Met Lawyers conceded that legal observers: "Have an important role to play in providing independent scrutiny of protests and policing of protests."
