1) From the 1st of January 2019 to the date that this request is processed, any occasion where a) a firearm or b) ammunition belonging to your force (that is, any firearm or ammunition which is used by firearms officers) was reported as missing, lost or stolen. 2) For each of these incidents, please could you inform me how long it took before the firearm or ammunition was recovered, or any incidents where the firearm or ammunition was not recovered and is still missing.

Police Firearms

1) For each of the last five years up to the date of this request, the number of incidents where there has been a negligent discharge of a police-issue firearm in your force. To be clear, by "negligent discharge" I mean any incident where a police-issue firearm has been fired when it should not have been or when it was not intended to do so. 2) Where possible, please provide brief details of the circumstances of that discharge - ie, description of the weapon, the location, whether during training or operational circumstances, whether it resulted in any injury. 3) For each of the last five years, the number of incidents where there has been a failure by a member of your force to maintain proper possession of a police-issue firearm. To be clear, by "failure to maintain proper possession" I mean any incident where a police-issue firearm has been left unattended by an officer or otherwise not been in the full possession of an officer when it should have been. 4) Where possible, please provide brief details of the circumstances of each incident of this nature - ie description of the weapon, location, whether during training or operational circumstances. 5) For questions 1 and 3, please indicate whether any incidents resulted in disciplinary action and the result of that disciplinary action.

Taser use

1. How many times was a conducted energy device (e.g. Taser) deployed against children aged 11-17 and against those aged 0-11, during each month to date in 2018, 2019 and 2020, broken down by race, gender and age bracket - and of course by each month in question. 2. How many times in each of these months, broken down by month, was Taser deployed after officers attended incidents at schools, colleges and universities? 3. How many times was Taser deployed against adults during each month to date in 2018, 2019 and 2020, broken down by race, gender and age bracket - and of course by each month in question. 4. Please confirm the level of force used in each incident (arced, drive stun, aimed, drawn, fired, and red dotted) during each month to date in 2018, 2019 and 2020, broken down by race, gender and age bracket - and of course by each month in question.

I would like to know how many requests Devon and Cornwall Police received for a Firearms Certificate variation over the last three years 2017, 2018, 2019. For all variations I would like to know how many of those requests were either granted or refused. I would also particularly like to know how many applications were ‘one for one/ like for like’ applications where the applicant is applying to change a firearm for a calibre one that is already granted on the applicants Firearm Certificate. For this category of variations I would like to know how many of those requests were either granted or refused. I would like to know the overall cost of processing a Firearms Certificate variation request

People shot by police officers

I would like to request the following information: How many people have been injured by a shot fired by your officers in the past five years (2015-2019)? How many people have been fatally shot by your officers in the past five years (2015-2019)? Can you provide me with a breakdown of the ethnicity and gender of both the police officer and the person who was shot (either fatally or non-fatally), and also whether the person shot was armed or unarmed and with what kind of weapon (knife, firearm). Have any officers been convicted of manslaughter in the past five years (2015-2019)?

What policies, provisions, legislation and procedures are used by your force for guidance and adherence when deciding to approve an application for any form of Firearms License, including where minors will gain access to Firearms? 2. When deciding to approve an application for any form of Firearms License, is there a legislative, procedural or policy requirement that the applicant's employment must require use of a Firearm in order to obtain a license or are licenses available to all meeting the stipulations of Firearms legislation regardless of the purpose to which they would put a Firearm, e.g. sport shooting? 3. When persons are convicted of crimes of violence such as assault or unlawful killing of wildlife or any animal, what cross-checks/policies, provisions, legislation and procedures does your force have in place for guidance and adherence when deciding to withdraw any form of Firearms License issued to said person(s)?
