Here at Devon and Cornwall Police we are passionate about providing the best possible policing service to the communities we work in.
We work to maintain law and order, protect members of the public and property, and detect, prevent and investigate crimes. It is a challenging career that demands a high level of personal integrity and responsibility. However, working as a Police Constable is an interesting and rewarding role that once you have completed your first class training will reward you with an extraordinary job that is unlike any other.
We welcome applications from individuals from all backgrounds and encourage anyone who has considered a career in policing to submit an application form. We are particularly keen to increase the number of women officers and officers from black and minority ethnic communities and candidates from the LGBT community to ensure our workforce represents the communities we serve.
