Location: This is a national role and is not based in Dorset. Roles will be performed predominantly on a flexible/ home/ remote working basis.
Salary range: The commencing salary will be within Scale J starting at £46,947 rising by yearly increments to £51,204 per annum.
Unit / department: Forensic Capability Network
The Quality Specialist role is external facing, with their main purpose being forming community cohesion to deliver standardised technical processes that are compliant with accreditation requirements, ensuring the community recognises these single efficient processes, directing the community to work in the agreed way, accelerating accreditation across all Forces’ Forensic Units in their specialist disciplines and leading national expert networks.
The FCN Quality Specialists will be central to the development of that function by leading a national approach to meeting accreditation requirements and improving quality standards across UK Forensics.
