Public urged to remain vigilant after Manchester attack

As part of the ongoing investigations into the terrorist incident in Manchester on Monday night, the UK threat level was raised from ‘severe’ to ‘critical’. For public reassurance, armed officers will be seen out and about in our communities. Armed officers will be doing overt foot patrols, carrying a long-armed firearm, which is the first time this has happened in our area.
