Number of individuals detained in Torquay Custody from January 2022 to January 2024. Adults and juveniles.

How many of those individual's required an appropriate adult? Adults and juveniles.

The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information.

Qliksense Report: Detainee Management                                                         

Filtered by date: January 1st 2022 to January 31st 2024                                

Custody Centre: Custody Torquay                                                          

Custody data exported - Duplicates removed on Nominal ID and year.                                                        

Data Limitations:                                                   

Due to a recent change in the records management system for custody, we are not able to obtain the Appropriate Adult data at present.                                                    

For the purposes of this request, individuals were counted only once per year, regardless of how many times they were detained.              

The following tables show the number of individuals arrested and taken to Torquay Custody, between January 1st 2022 and January 31st 2024.     

*2024 consists of January 1st to the 31st, not the complete year.
