What is the longest amount of sick leave given to an offcer male and female
In accordance with Police Regulation 28, officers will remain on full pay for the first six months (183 days) of any sickness absence in any rolling 12-month period. An officer who has completed six months (183 days) sickness absence within a rolling 12-month period will thereafter receive half pay for a further six months, or until their return to work, whichever is the sooner. Chief Officers have the discretion to determine that, for a period of up to three months, an officer may continue to receive either full pay or half pay whilst on sick leave. The Chief Constable will normally exercise their discretion to allow an officer to remain on full pay if:

Does the force require medical certificates for sick pay
If an individual is absent from work for more than seven calendar days, they will need to submit a Medical Certificate to cover the rest of the absence. If the absence continues beyond the expiry date of the certificate, the individual must obtain and submit further certificates until such time as they return to work.
