The Major Crime Incident Team and Policy & Procedure Department have provided the following information. 

This request relates to the Police Force's use of psychics (by which I mean all types of psychics, clairvoyants, 'remote viewers', mediums, astrologers, mind-readers, etc.)

In the last three years, how many times has the police force actively engaged with a psychic for the purpose of using their services?

None

In the last three years, how many times has the force paid for the services of a psychic in relation to a criminal case?

None

In the last three years, how many times has the police force been contacted by psychics offering to help with a criminal investigation?

Search terms of ‘psychic’, ‘mindreader’, ‘remote viewer’ and ‘clairvoyant’ have been entered and combining psychic with medium ie. ‘psychic medium’, otherwise, it returned too many results due to ‘medium’ having high frequency usage.

Synonym searches alongside this also picked up ‘astral projection’ which have been included in the results
