1. A yearly breakdown of the total number of cars reported as stolen in your policing area during the periods:
• 1st April 2022 - March 31st 2023
• 1st April 2023 - March 31st 2024
• 1st April 2024 - March 31st 2025
Please note that the figures in the table below are for stolen vehicles as the offence is ‘theft of a motor vehicle. To determine how many of these vehicles are cars as opposed to vans, etc would require manually checking all 4,838 offences which would make this request over the 18 hour fee limit.
