The Alliance Roads Policing Department have provided the following information.
Please note, Force policy requires the recording of all collisions which occur involving or owning to the presence of a police vehicle, irrespective of whether the police vehicle physically made contact and including on private property. This is far wider than the requirements of legislation under the Road Traffic Act or the Department for Transport.
1/ Please provide the number of road traffic collisions (RTCs) involving police vehicles for each of the last 3 calendar years
2/ Please provide the number of road traffic collisions (RTCs) involving police vehicles which were unmarked for each of the last 3 calendar years

The force does not record whether the police vehicle is marked or unmarked.
3/ Please provide the number of road traffic collisions (RTCs) involving police vehicles where there was an injury (to either an officer or a civilian) for each of the last 3 calendar years
