The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information.

Data Source:          

Crime data from Niche; Incident data from STORM     

Data Processing: 

Qliksense "Incidents" report, filtered on: 

Domestic Abuse "Yes";      

Date 01/01/2024 to 23/12/2024.   

Chart Builder populated and data exported.       

Qliksense "Crime & Outcomes" report, filtered on:       

Month Crimed Jan-2024 to Dec-2024;    

Notifiable Crime Only "Yes";         

Include No-Crimes "No";    

OCC_DA_Flag "Yes".        

Chart Builder populated and exported.   

PPN DA Risk Level field matched into Incidents export.          

Data Limitations:

Incidents can be opened or closed as Domestic Incidents, or otherwise tagged to indicate Domestic Abuse.

Resulting Occurrences may not be ultimately flagged as Domestic Abuse, whether crimed or not.

Additionally, there are Domestic Abuse flagged Occurrences - that are crimed or not - that are not generated by an incident. No data has been supplied for these.       

I am keen to see the crime stats for 2024 where I can consider domestic incident occurrences and the proportion that are "crimed" under HOCR.

There were 23,660 incidents with a Domestic Abuse flag from 1st January 2024 to 23rd December 2024.

Of these, 12,255 were crimed.

It would be great if the stats could be broken down into DASH risk levels but I do appreciate that Niche RMS is limited in this area.
