Qliksense Report: Occurrence - People Links (all)
Person or Organisation: Person
Victim: Yes
Age at Time: 0-30
HO Description: Controlling and Coercive Behaviour
Filtered by crimed date: January 1st 2015 to March 31st 2025
Data Limitations:
All outcomes for each dataset have been provided as this may help indicate why a crime has the outcome it has (such as victim doesn’t support action, offender died etc). Data provided is only looking at offences where the victim is aged 0-30.
It is important to note that an individual may be linked to more than one offence in a year. For the purpose of this request, duplicates have been removed - crime figures, are for the number of crimes regardless of who the victim is, and victim figures count each unique victim once per year.
It is also worth noting that the offences/victims counted in the Controlling and Coercive Behaviour crimes, may also be counted in the DA crime, if the offence is flagged as DA.
It is important to note, the year is for the year crimed, not the outcome year.
Q1) For the previous 10 calendar years, please provide the total number of recorded crimes which have been flagged as domestic-abuse related incidents (ie. have met the cross-government definition of domestic violence and abuse) reported by young people, broken down by the following age groups:
1) Under 18
2) 18-24
3) 25-30
NB: the cross-government definition of Domestic violence and abuse: "any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are, or have been, intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality. The abuse can encompass, but is not limited to: psychological, physical, sexual, financial and emotional."
