Data Limitations:

Data includes non-notifiable offences. Devon and Cornwall Police transitioned to a new records management system on 15/11/2022. As part of this transition, the recording of most non-notifiable offences ceased. The number of recorded offences may be affected from this date as the force is not required to record a crime in respect of these offences.

As at 19th June 2024 the Force has adopted a customised methodology to report on outcomes in order to more accurately reflect outcome type and the date an outcome was assigned. This is to mitigate the data being skewed as a result of administrative delays.
