The Professional Standards Department has provided the following information.

The following data has been extracted from Centurion from 01/01/2022 – 03/10/2024 by filtering “Male” and “Officers” with “Live” complaints.

1) How many male Devon and Cornwall officers are currently under investigation by your professional standards department.

73 officers.

2) How many of these officers are suspended.

27 officers.

3) How many of these officers are on restricted duties.

31 officers.

4) How many of these officers are working normally.

15 officers.

5) How many of these officers are also the subject of a criminal investigation.

The following data has been extracted from Centurion from 01/01/2022 – 03/10/2024 by filtering “Male” and “Officers” with “Live” complaints. An additional filter has then been applied to the cases to provide those cases linked to  “VAWG – Police Perpetrated”.

6) How many male Devon and Cornwall officers are currently under investigation by your professional standards department following allegations of violence/inappropriate behaviour/controlling behaviour involving women.
