The Road Safety Team have provided the following information.
I am writing to ask about the staffing of the teams that process the online reporting of driving offences by members of the public. These teams are often referred to as Operation Snap teams, but some police use other terms, eg Extra Eyes in Essex and Public Reporting in the Met. We believe all police (or all but one) have such a team.
Please provide the following information:
1. Number of authorised FTE positions for such team as of end of March 2025.
