Freedom of Information (FOI) Act request ref: 01/FOI/25/008745/H
Version Date: 19/09/2025
The Alliance People Department has provided the following information.
Please can I request, under the Freedom of Information Act:
a list of all PC roles which do not explicitly require PPST and/or First Aid;
PPST and First Aid are mandatory pieces of training for all PC roles without exception.
a list of roles which have a dedicated proportion of non-deployable officers;
There are no roles which specifically have a portion or amount of Design/Vacancies that are only allowed to be filled by Officers who are non-deployable.
how many of these roles have officers with under 3 years' service in;
Not applicable.
how many of these roles have officers within their probation period;
Not applicable.
how many officers within their probation are not currently under response thresholds.
Based on figures as at 31 August 2025 there are 230 officers within their probation who are in non-response roles.
Clarification: By not currently on response thresholds, I mean not counting within response thresholds / not in a response section role (e.g. Exeter Response A Section or Mid Devon D Section Response). Someone who does not count within response thresholds would be someone in a non-response role (e.g. CMIT, Moonstone etc.) or who is under a non-threshold role, on response or otherwise.
