The Alliance Operations Department has provided the following information.
The number of dogs seized by your police force from November 2023 to the most recent available date.

The number of dogs put down/euthanised/put to sleep by your police force over the same period under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
115 – please note, this is the figure for the total number of dogs euthanised not just those euthanised as a result of the Dangerous Dogs Act. This could also be for reasons such as the owner disclaimed the dog.
We do not hold statistics of dogs euthanised specifically relating to the Act.
