Data is dependent on the recording of an individual being linked to a crime, there may be a small number of crimes where no individual is linked and these will not appear in the data.
Q3: Immigration status data is not held. We are unable to state the individual’s country of origin, only the nationality as recorded in the reports.

Immigration status is not recorded as a matter of course; on the occasions where something is recorded somehwere in the record it may well be ‘suspected’ rather than ‘documented’ status. There is no flag or marker for immigation status and to manually check the offences in case anything is held would take the entire request over the 18 hours maximum fee limit.
o Country of origin of non-British suspects
