Freedom of Information (FOI) Act request ref: 01/FOI/25/007898/T
Version Date: 02/04/2025
The Alliance Information Management Department have provided the following information.
1) Please supply the total number of Subject Access Requests that you have refused during February 2025 on the grounds that they would "prejudice" a civil action for breach of a civil injunction being bought by the Chief Constable against the person making the subject Access Requests.
Nil return.
We are not aware of any civil action for a Civil Injunction to prevent an individual from exercising their Subject Rights, or more specifically preventing them from making a Subject Access Request.
2) Please supply the total number of such refusals where while communicating the refusal your data protection department failed to inform the requester of their right to make a complaint to the ICO and/or their ability to seek to enforce this right through the courts.
No information held.
All Subject Access response letters contain information advising applicants of their right to lodge a complaint with the ICO, their right to request that the ICO check that any restrictions are lawful and their right to apply to the Court to see if there has been any infringement of their rights under Data protection Legislation.
