The number of thefts in pubs and on pub premises that occurred annually going back to 2018 - so one figure for each year.

There may be premises owned by public houses that were not captured by the MO Location or Venue Combined but we would need specific addresses to search these.

 

The Force switched from UNIFI to NICHE in November 2022. The two crime recording systems are not identical and have different reports within them. This is the reason for the big rise in thefts recorded from 2022 to 2023.

In addition to theft of property, the above table includes theft by employees, people helping themselves to drinks when not authorised to do so and making off from a bar or restaurant without paying. Attempted theft/burglary has not been included.
