Please note, for the purposes of this request, each victim has only been counted once within the time frame.                                                                        

To clarify - an individual could have been a victim of more than one offence within the timeframe but will appear only once in the data.                                               

All data is for Devon and Cornwall only.                                                                                                                             

Occurrence People Links data is dependent on the recording of an individual being linked to a crime, there may be a small number of crimes where no individual is linked, and these will not appear in the data.                                                         

The principal crime rule dictates the crime type recorded. This is determined by the Home Office Counting Rules. This means that whilst we have limited the data to the offence groups Rape and Other Sexual Offences, there may be other crimes in which a Rape or Other Sexual Offences occurred. If a rape or sexual offence is a secondary crime, it would not appear in the data provided.
