The Alliance Roads Policing Department has provided the following information:

Please note that illegal E-scooters which have been used on the roads cannot be returned to the owner or sold. They will only be returned if they have not been used on the road and have most likely been stolen from the owner.

For the purposes of this request, "e-scooter" refers to a privately-owned electrically powered scooter (powered transporter) and does not include electrically assisted pedal cycles (e-bikes), electrically powered motorcycles or mopeds.
Please provide the following information for each of the calendar years 2023, 2024 and 2025:
1.         The number of privately-owned e-scooters seized by your force.

2. Of those e-scooters seized, the number that were subsequently released or reclaimed by their owners.
