Allegation wildcard keyword search: homophobia/homophobic, transphobia/transphobic, sexual orientation

Figures based on Allegations, to note one Case may have multiple Allegations, and may be linked to multiple Officers.

Centurion limitations:

Prior to the 2020 legislation changes, many fields were not mandatory, which will affect the quality and consistency of earlier records. 

1. The number of complaints recorded against officers or the force that include allegations of homophobia, homophobic behaviour, or discrimination based on sexual orientation, for each calendar year from 2019 to the most recent available complete year

2. Where possible, please break down the figures by whether the complaint was made by a member of the public or made internally by a member of staff.

Police officers / staff are unable to make complaint – this would be a recorded as a grievance, not a complaint and managed by HR. All figures shown are from members of the public.
