The Payroll and HR Operations Departments has provided the following information:
Clarification - the data I require is:
1 April 2024 to 30 March 2025 and 1 April 2025 to 23 March 2026 within your police force:
1. The number of police officers who were reduced to half pay following six months’ absence from work.
24/26 – 37 officers dropped to half pay
25/26 – 83 officers dropped to half pay
2. The number of requests made for full pay to be maintained on the basis that the illness or injury was linked to an injury sustained on duty.
There were 5 request to extend full pay as a result of Injury on Duty
3. Of those requests, the number that were successful in retaining full pay.
If possible, I would be grateful if the information could be provided separately for each financial year.
