Caveats/Limitations

• No crimes/Cancelled Crimes excluded
• The presence of a keyword only indicates its presence in the MO or Summary text and not its relevance to a crime
• The principal crime rule dictates the crime type recorded. This is determined by the Home Office Counting Rules. This means that whilst we have limited the data to Home Office Code 049/10, there may be other such crimes which occurred.
• Because of the use of the principal crime rule when recording crimes, the recorded Arrest and Outcome is linked to the occurrence and may be for a different crime type.                      
• Restricted Crimes Excluded.                 
• Offence data was migrated from Unifi to Niche on 14/11/2022. There are a small number of crimes which may have migration issues.

   - the recorded circumstances indicate that the stolen property was a delivered parcel or package.

    - a) an arrest, and
    - b) a charge.
   
If outcomes are recorded using outcome codes rather than arrest/charge fields, please provide the figures corresponding to:

- crimes resulting in a charge or summons (or equivalent disposal).

- any local flags, markers, or MO categories used by your force, and/or
- keyword searches within free-text fields (for example "parcel", "package", "delivered", "left at doorstep", "communal area", or similar).
