Registered sex offenders

The Public Protection Unit Department has provided the following information:

Please note, ViSOR extracts, when run, are on the data as the Force holds it today; the Force cannot extract, for example, nationality data of someone created in 2025 who has since moved to another police force. Therefore, nationality data is provided on the records created in 2025 that we still own.

Please can you tell me, for 2025, the following information from ViSOR:

- The number of individuals added to the sex offenders register in 2025 (or the latest 12 months of data)

443 new individuals were added. This is Registered Sex Offenders and those on a Sexual Risk Order.
 
- The number of these individuals who are listed on ViSOR as non-British nationals.

25 individuals were added in 2025 who were listed as non-British nationals. As above, this number is only individuals who are still in the Force area.

- The number of these individuals who are listed on ViSOR as British nationals.

316 individuals were added in 2025 who were listed as British nationals. As above, this number is only individuals who are still in the Force area.

 

 

Please note that no information is held for the nationality for 102 individuals.
