The Prevention Department has provided the following information:
1) The rollout status of Right Care Right Person (RCRP) in your police force.
Devon & Cornwall Police rolled out Phases 1 – 4 of RCRP over 2024 with the final phase commencing January 2025. At this time, RCRP is currently in use by the Force.
2) The estimated number of police hours in your police force saved due to the rollout of RCRP OR the estimated number of police hours in your police force that will be saved due to the rollout of RCRP.
No information held. This data is not recorded.
RCRP was not predicated upon the need to save police hours, but rather a mission statement to ensure persons in need get timely and appropriate service from an agency suited to their needs.
