The Performance & Analysis Department has provided the following information:
Data Limitations:
A reporting person may not be the crime victim.
Data is reliant on the correct roles being added to a person’s description – if reporting person has not been included in the role description, they will not be included in the figures for Q2.
A person may report more than one offence of the same/similar nature – for the purpose of this request, reporting persons have been counted once per year.
Furthermore, not all offences had a reporting person linked to the offence.
The data includes cases where multiple people have reported the same offence.
Due to the above, figures for the number of reporting persons will vary from the number of offences, meaning these figures cannot be directly compared.
I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:
1. How many reports of stalking and harassment have you received from January 1st, 2020, to April 30th, 2026?
