The following table shows the number of "physical" offences against children (victims aged 0-17).

It is important to note that the above shows the number of offences, not victims.
For example, a child may be victim to more than 1 offence.
1a) Of these, how many instances where the suspect/perpetrator was the child's parent/guardian?
Each of the 16,373 offences would need to be individually read in order to determine the victim/offender relationship.
This would make the request over fees under Section 12 of the FOI Act.
