The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information:
Data Source:
Missing Person data from COMPACT
Data Processing/Limitations:
Qlikview "Missing Persons", filtered on:
Report Type "Missing"
and Month/Year Jan-2019 to Dec-2021.
"Individual Record" page - various variables added and data exported.
Once a person is found, a Found flag (MP_FoundFlag) should be attached to the missing person record.
For reports which don't have this flag, the data was cross referenced with an export from the live COMPACT system on 24/01/2022 ("People Currently Missing").
Any reports for people not on this export which do not have a found flag are assumed to have been found.
Reports without a found flag where the person is currently missing were removed from the data to create Tables 2 and 3.
I have used 30 as the default number of days for a month.
I am looking at 2019, 2020 and 2021 data and would appreciate it if you could provide the data for each separate year.
Please note that data is not recorded in percentages, I have provided you with the data that we do hold.
