The data shows offences recorded with a venue type of school. Please be aware that an offence could have occurred when the school was closed but on school property.
This could include evenings, weekends and school holidays. Therefore an offence may have occurred within the boundary of the school but not in school opening hours.
Some schools allow the public use/hire of their premises for extracurricular activities and therefore an offence may have occurred within this time but not necessarily within traditional school learning hours.
Searches were done with a crime location of 'school'. A school may include a 6th form level of education and could therefore be captured in the data as could disability/special needs/boarding schools
