Devon & Cornwall Police is using a new digital evidence management system known as NiCE Investigate which is revolutionising how we manage and investigate crimes.
It allows members of the public and local businesses to supply their CCTV, including video doorbells, mobile phone and/or dashcam footage via a secure link.
When you register with the system, Devon & Cornwall Police can request the relevant footage from you via NiCE Investigate. You will receive an email notification asking you to provide the relevant footage associated with an investigation.
The service is free of charge and 100% voluntary. Registering does not give Devon & Cornwall Police access to your CCTV system. You are making it easier for us to request and collect footage we may require in an investigation – the only footage we will ever have access to is the footage you send to us.
To register, please email DCP Business Registration. A registration link will be sent to you from noreply.business @digital-policing.co.uk.
This email address is not monitored 24 hours per day, it is only for requests to register your cameras with the NiCE Investigate Community Portal and must not be used for reporting crimes.
Your information is always kept safe and secure and never made public. For full details please refer to our privacy notice.
