SCHOOL PARKING
Unfortunately, some parents and carers continue to park inconsiderately and dangerously, including on double yellow lines, zig-zags, and pavements. It is a common issue at lots of schools across the patch putting people at risk of harm
Issued 13 July 2026
Our local team has stepped up foot patrols around schools to help keep everyone safe. While we always aim to educate drivers first to prevent it happening, we have had to move vehicles and will issue penalty notices to frequent offenders. The safety of our children remains our top priority and encourage council enforcement officers to continue issuing tickets for double yellows. Please help us keep the school environment safe for all. I am not interested in your excuses. Thank you for your cooperation.

KIDS VAPING
Issued 13 July 2026
Eggbuckland Neighbourhood team arranged a test purchasing op with the young Police cadets, targeting the local shops to ensure the correct challenge for ID procedures were being implemented. I am happy to say the under cover cadets failed at purchasing a vape and were asked for ID in every shop which is really positive. We may do a licensing op with underage alcohol
