  • Priority:

    Operation Fastwater

    Issued 06 October 2026

    Action taken:

Operation Fastwater is a local policing priority focused on protecting our community by disrupting and preventing criminal activity linked to the theft of and from motor vehicles. The operation targets an organised group associated with these offences, as well as the dangerous driving that often follows, which places members of the public, road users and emergency responders at significant risk. It also addresses concerns around the exploitation of children by those involved in this criminality, recognising the harm caused to young people who may be coerced or groomed into offending. Through targeted enforcement, safeguarding and partnership working, Operation Fastwater aims to reduce crime, improve road safety, protect vulnerable individuals and provide a safer environment for everyone in the local area.

    Actioned 06 January 2027

  • Priority:

    Anti-social Driving (Operation Levelgate)

    Issued 06 October 2026

    Action taken:

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to prioritise tackling anti-social driving to improve road safety, reduce community harm, and enhance residents’ quality of life. Through proactive patrols, targeted enforcement, intelligence-led activity, and engagement with local communities, officers will identify and address behaviours such as speeding, dangerous driving, vehicle nuisance, and illegal vehicle use. Working in partnership with local authorities, road safety teams, and community groups, we will take a coordinated approach to prevention, education, and enforcement, ensuring concerns raised by the public are acted upon effectively. This priority reflects our commitment to public service by listening to community concerns, protecting vulnerable road users, and creating safer neighbourhoods for everyone.

  • Priority:

Anti-social Behaviour around the Parkfield/Mayfield School site

    Issued 06 October 2026

    Action taken:

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will prioritise tackling anti-social behaviour and alleged criminality around the site, both in and outside school hours. Through proactive patrols, targeted enforcement, intelligence-led activity, and engagement with the local community, officers will identify and address criminality and ASB. Working in partnership with the local authority and community groups, we will take a coordinated approach to prevention, education, and enforcement, ensuring concerns are acted upon effectively. This priority reflects our commitment to public service by listening to community concerns, protecting vulnerable people, and creating a safer neighbourhood for everyone.
