Jason Vasey is a dedicated Police Community Support Officer who has served Totnes with distinction for 20 years, recently commemorated by receiving his Long Service Medal . Throughout his career he’s built trust through high visibility foot patrols, welfare visits, crime prevention sessions for elderly residents and shopstaff training, plus complex rural-community problem solving in collaboration with multiple agencies . He’s also spearheaded compassionate support for vulnerable individuals – from helping a homeless young person into secure housing to donating £450 via POCA funds for a local food bank fridge freezer . His compassionate presence and proactive approach have made him a pillar of the Totnes community .
PCSO Russ Broadhurst has been a member of the Totnes Neighbourhood Team for 12 years covering Totnes Rural including South Brent, Dartington and Rattery.
