Totnes neighbourhood team have been receiving concerns reports about dangerous driving in and around the town centre, urban exploring breaking into abandoned building and drug misuse within the town centre.
We will work with residents, businesses, partner agencies and local organisations to identify suspects, share information and take proportionate action. Through visible patrols, targeted enforcement, prevention and early intervention, we will focus on the issues that matter to the community.
Please continue to strengthen the relationship police have with the community and continue to report crime through the 101 system or DC alert account. Alternatively, come and meet a member of the Totnes neighbourhood team at one of the "Chat with a Cop" events listened on the community messaging site. Collaborative, community focused approach leads to a safer neighbourhood. #SaferTogether

Totnes Neighbourhood Team have already carried out patrols in areas of high crime and anti social behaviour. As well as working with local roads policing team to tackle the dangerous driving that has occurred in the town centre. A number of arrests have been made and those individuals charged are currently going through the criminal justice system.
